Industry researches show the growth in demand for products produced using zinc both worldwide and domestically. Those products are required in various fields of human activities, like healthcare, infrastructure development or environment protection.
Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant CZP bases its marketing strategy on the development of close, long-term relationships with the customers for its products, by seeking to provide them with a consistent quality of product, competitive pricing and timely delivery of orders. CZP also seeks to respond to its customers’ individual requirements, ranging from packing or delivery requirements to the development of new products.
The major part of CZP zinc and alloys was sold domestically in 2008 (52% of total sales in 2008). The steel sector, particularly the Russian steel producers, MMK, NLMK and Severstal, comprised CZP’s largest single customer base in Russia. CZP sells its refined zinc products to overseas markets primarily through Euromin S.A., a Swiss trading specialist. By developing partnership with its key customers, CZP executes the long-term strategy aimed to the continuous growth of sales.
