The Company's mission is to be a preferred provider of high-quality zinc products to its core customers and market leader in the Russian zinc industry. To advance its objective Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant pursues the following strategies:

• Increase its zinc production capacity to 153, 285 tonnes of special high grade zinc by the year 2010.
• Continue its programme of investments to maintain its competitive cost structure, increase capacity utilization and expand the value-added product range of special high grade zinc products.
• Continue vertical integration through merger and acquisition of the existing mines and development of the new ones to become substantionally self-sufficient in zinc concentrate by 2010.
